Morning Mike

V = Vroon in this case, normally better known for livestock carriers. Silverstone Express one of four car carriers ordered from Mitsubishi, and her sister Sebring Express will follow later. They have a capacity for 3930 cars and the two are chartered by Partner Shipping Norway on the new service around the Pacific rim, and Praxis of Melbourne are commercially managing the new service. Understand her first discharge quite light, a mere 33 cars but they confident about the future, having picked up a large contract for cars out of Mexico to give them a good base. Also the Siem Industrial Group has made a major investment in the business so while early loadings are light, there is some support for their future

Cheers

Brent

I've read the press release, but who on earth are Partner shipping ??.

When I saw the ship this morning and saw the "V" on the funnel and the bow I wondered if they are part of the Vlasov family group.
You know, Vlasov, of Sitmar and Seven Seas fame.

Mike
