Mac

I fully understand how you feel. In my early days of being a member of shipspotting, I posted some shots of the maxi yachts from the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, Tomas was quite happy to allow them they were all in the Lloyds Reigster. I was shot down in flames and criticised harshley by many but the shots were hugley popular, due to the constant negative comments I removed them.

As far as I am concerned your shots of the Sailing Ship or Tall Ships are more than welcome on the site, you are right saying that sail was here long before Steam or motor Power. Keep up the excellent shots, I would love to see some more shots of tall ships undersail from you.

Cheers

Mendy, with a mere 9 posts here you should be a bit more respectful to other members.

Keep up the good work, Mac!

Hi Mac,

Thanks a lot for posting. I’ve seen the ETOILE last year (and several times before) in Liverpool. Her classic lines are beautiful.

Ah, Sailships are NOT AT ALL my interest ! Nor do I take photos of them !!

However, this site is for all ships !!! Personal preferences, yes we have them. Still we should be open minded then and let others post what they want.

If you are not too dumb to read, you may look up the ship-categories and choose the right category to find your preferred ships in there - and simply skip the for you un-interesting category.

It's an easy life if you know how to read :p

For gods sake this is not sailing spotting, its for shipspotters. Stop posting this rubbish and put on proper vessels

They are called tall SHIPS. SHIPS are the target of Shipspotting, and Mac has done an excellent job on these photos of Tall Ships. Maybe you should learn to contribute to the site before leaving your ignorant comments over other peoples' work.

Good Day,
Allan

Hi Mac

Just ignore these comments, annoying as they may seem. I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this site is about water-borne vessels of all types and descriptions, including SAIL :-)
