"Nieuw Holland" anchored off Melbourne August 9, 1972. Photo taken shortly after she collided with, and sank the tug "Melbourne" with the loss of five lives.
"Melbourne"s position is marked by the workboat....and oil slick.

That's something I didn't know about the NIEUW HOLLAND! Thanks for that (sad) info. Being a Dutchie myself, the RANDFONTEIN/NIEUW HOLLAND is one of my favourite liners of the past.
