During her visit on SAIL 2005 in Bremerhaven on 13.07.2005. In the meantime her sistership, the ESBERN SNARE, was handed over to the Danish Navy. Both will serve as "Flexible Support Ships". They'll be able to operate as command ships, hospital ships or strategic transport ships. They are the biggest units in the Danish Navy today.
