| A clarification. Jack Guidry founded Main Iron Works in the 1950s. Lawrence Mazerac was president in 1974. I have never heard of Gerard Mazerac. |

| Here is one instance where the U.S. Coast Guard is not correct. Lawrence Mazerac is one of the founders of Main Iron Works, Inc. MIW built the boat, not Mazerac. My early records show the boat was built at Bourg, La., which is the town adjacent to Houma. |
