The Northern Transportation AHTS ALEX GORDON alongside at Victoria Shipyards. She arrived here towing the barges ITB BEAUFORT SEA and NT 12000, and is on her way north to the Hope Bay gold mining project in Nunavut, north of the Arctic Circle.

A little story ...I assisted the Alex Gordon with the ITB Beaufort Sea in Vancouver at Passage Isl on July 24 at 2200 she travelled as far with the pair to about Tofino and with weather at 35 west wind and a 3 meter sea she had to turn around on July 26 due to the roofs on the houses onboard the NT 12000 started to get damaged.the crew have been onboard since Halifax and due of when they arrive at Tuk
