No work on Sundays; the cranes are idle, the inland barges have come to a rest. Two conventional vessels are berthed waiting for work to resume on Monday. It seems life went on at a more leasurely pace at that time. But don't be mistaken -part of the standstill was caused by the first oilcrisis of 1973 ....
