In July 1991, Archer Class coastal training craft HMS TRUMPETER, along with sister ship P293 HMS RANGER, were deployed to Gibralter to act as guard ships. Built in 1988 by Vosper they are capable of 20 knots and displace 43 tonnes. In this pic we see HMS TRUMPETER speeding out from Gib.to escort the QE2 into the Atlantic.
