Many of the photos I've been posting to Shipspotting.com were taken when I was between 9 and 14 years old, using a very indifferent camera, so I apologize for their lack in resolution compared to today's digital product. Back then, though, I was always overjoyed to encounter a Poseidon vessel, because these were incredibly photogenic ships: Black, white, and red; elegant, but purposeful, and immaculately maintained. Few vessels could photograph so well, and look so good in person, too.

Sold 1957 to Poseidon Schiffahrt GmbH, Hamburg, and renamed *Transcanada.* Later *Good Faith* (1967). Broken up at Dalian, 1972.
