The Santa Lucia, sits in the scrapping berth of All Star Metals in the Port of Brownsville on Dec 1st, 2005 taken by a co-worker, Albert Garcia.

Thanks to Daug who gave me the head's up. All I needed was the name. She left James River, VA in October, 2005. She is pictured here being removed from the James River Fleet.

I just added 5 photos of her. 4 of her launch and 1 of her maiden arrival @ Philly. searching under "Santa Lucia" should bring them all up. From the rust streak aft of the hawsepipe, I'm sure that must be the Santa Lucia, the first of a class built for the Grace Line, and I believe the last to go to Scrap. Marad design C4-S-65a. Info:http://www.pmars.imsg.com/detail.asp?Ship=4413

Looks like former Santa Barbara or Santa Isabel of Prudential Lines
