Description:
J.W. PAULIN as shown while downbound on the St.Lawrence River in May 1964.

Built in 1936 by Burmeister & Wain as SKAGERAK for Norwegian-owned A/S Skagerak (Olaf Ditlev-Simonsen jr, managers), she survived World War II and was sold in 1954 to Finnish-owned Paulins Rederi A/B of Abo (Turku) who renamed her J.W. PAULIN as depicted here.
In 1965, she went Greek (Tsourinakis Bros) who renamed SOFIA T and CAPETAN ANDREAS T (1966) before finally going to the breakers at Whampoa in 1970.
