 Re: Maasdam -STEFAN BATORY I was able to go aboard the Stefan Batory (she was 'Stefan' only at the time) when she was laid in Chalkis, Greece in the late 90's. It was very sad to see her in that state where she was effectively a ghostly shell of her former self. You could imagine the grandeur of the wooden panelling and staircases when she was new. Very...very sad. Now scrapped I understand.
