A new addition to the New Zealand coastal shipping fleet. The former Japanese KAIJIN MARU No.18 built in 1992 now renamed ANATOKI under the New Zealand flagged and registered in Nelson sailing from the Port of Timaru - New Zealand 11.5.2008. She is owned and operated by Coastal Bulk Shipping Ltd., Christchurch to serve on an ad-hoc tramp service basis around New Zealand. She discharged fertilizer and loaded feed bales for the North Island. Only some 50 meters in length but an attractive typical Japanese design. For some additional information follow this link;
