Features
The main deck features curved sliding doors leading to the salon. The staircase to the top deck can disappear to maximise the view from the main salon dining area. Split into two, the staircase folds effortlessly beneath the overhanging roofline and the lower cabinet.
Steps at either side of the aftdeck drop down to a large build-in sun bed and a central staircase leads to the swimming platform.
There are three ensuite bedrooms and a third ensuite cabin can be created by pulling across a retractable partition.
A central entertainment system provides independent audio visual library to all guest areas.

Build in 1943 as the Canadian escort frigate Stormont on the Vickers Yard.
In 1954 the famous Aristotoles Onassis bought it to transform it into this yacht which he renamed after his dauhgter.
Many celebrities walked her decks a.o. Marilyn Monroe, Franck Sinatra, La Callas, Jacky Kennedy, Paul McCartney and Tommy Lee.
When Onassis past away the ship was owned by the Greek gouvernment. Now it's owned by John Paul Papanicolao friend of the Onassis family. He restored the yacht into this luxury charter.
The nineteen cabins can host thirty-six guest at 450000 Euros a week. Home port is Monaco.
The two MAN 2775 Hp engines can reach 19 knots p/h

June 2010: Jason takes part in the « Soleil du sud 2010 » exercise. It's goal: proof that the NSRS can be deployed in the Mediterranean sea. Qualifying the ports of Marseilles and Toulon for embarking and disembarking of the NSRS to it's support ship, the " Bâtiment de soutien et d'assistance de dépollution (BSAD)" Jason. At the same time training personnel in operating the system.
The 17th of june, putting the NSRS in the water from the Jason was trained at Toulon naval base.
From 18th to 20st of june the objective was the NSRS to be set down to a target at 60 m of depth and a free dive at 600 m of depth.
From 22th to 24th of june a Spanish diesel-electric submarine, was set down to the sea bottom at 50 m of depth, simulating to be in distress, followed by rescue exercises using the NSRS

La Rade d'Hyères
The photo shows the retrieval of a replica of a Focke Wulf 190 that had crashed into the sea only a few days before.
The morning of the crash, I was waiting on the beach for the arrival of the navy fleet that would attend the celebration of the 100 th anniversary of the Naval air Base . While the aircraft were training their routines for the next day a "dogfight" between a Spitfire and a Focke-Wulf 190 was taking place. The latter flown by Marc 'Leon' Mathis.
While photographing the Spitfire the engine of the Focke-Wulfs engine broke down and the plane crashed into the sea at 30mtrs distance from the sun bathing people. Had I only focused on the Focke-Wulf….. Nobody including the pilot was hurt. In fact witnesses state, he did his utmost to avoid any collision. He was barely saved from drowning by members of the nearby Jet-ski company Audemar, as his parachute got stuck to his plane.
The lifting of the plane was performed nearly a week later by a workboat named Paul B built by Damen (Neth) again a bridge between Ship and Plane Spotting.
I included photos of the airplanes for the younger generations that don’t know what a spitfire or Focke Wulf look like. I hadn’t as well until that day. That already was quite an experience to witness a “dogfight” between the two in real life like my father and grandfather used to talk about.
The insert of the upside down FW 190 was taken just a minute before the crash doing his last roll.
In the lower left corner you see the pilot just minutes after the crash with his head barely above water while his parachute is still caught in the plane. Next, where he’s freed and brought to the beach. And last after realizing his luck walking away with a smile.

The morning of the 100th anniversary of the BAN an international fleet was gathered in this bay to celebrate the event.
For ages the bay is known as a save refuge because of it's well protected site, while it lies behind the three isles Porquerolles, Port Cros and ile de Levant.
Even today when bad weather strikes, or berths at the nearby port of Toulon are occupied, the bay is still used as a refuge.
From left to right in the bay we see
a civilian tug with barge, navy tug Bison (FR), USS Harry S. Truman, a customs patrol vessel, two ctm's, HMS Argus (UK), USS Normandy, another customs patrol vessel, Principe de Esturias (SP), Hessen (GER), a civilian tug, Le Forbin (FR), navy tug Luberon (FR), Foudre (FR). aircraft carrier Le Charles de Gaulle(FR) lies hidden behind H.M.S. Argus.
