Description:

The Staten Island Ferry - Spirit of America downbound in the St. Lawrence near Chippewa Bay, NY from the shipbuilders in Manitowoc Wisc. On her way to NYC. We were a bit puzzled when we saw her, thought she was lost. Not one of my best shots, she caught us by suprise. Taken 8/29/05.

Still pretty good shot anyway :-)

Nicely done none-the-less.... Wanted to catch her here in Montreal. Knew she was coming... didn't want to be at St-Lambert lock at 3:30 am to get her on camera at night on top of that. You probably managed to catch one of the only photos known so far of this one in our area of the Seaway.

It must really feel weird to see a Staten Island Ferry in your area... LOL.. A quick double take must have taken place! :-P
