Description:
For our German friends, Hapag Lloyd's BLANKENSTEIN photographed heading towards the lock at Cardiff on 28th July 1973. As LSI records that she had arrived at Rotterdam on July 1st inbound from Milwaukee, she was probably loading outwards for North America.
BLANKENSTEIN had been built by Bremer Vulkan at Vegasack in 1956 for Norddeutscher Lloyd and was broken up at Kaohsiung, arriving 8.4.83, as KOTA BAKTI, owned by P.I.L. from 1977
