The wreck removal barges Waasland (on left of picture) and Gaverland of Herbosch Kiere Marine Contractors Ltd. in position to commence the work of cutting up and removing the 1894-built cargo ship Spanish Prince, sunk as a blockship to Dover Harbour’s western entrance in 1915.

Partially obscured is the tug Sarah Grey alongside the Waasland.

The western breakwater lighthouse is undergoing separate maintenance.
