Description:
The Mano at Tilbury with the tug Sun XX in the foreground assisting an outbound vessel. Mano was completed by Scotts in 1948 as the Sulima, one of the six postwar 'S' class for Elder Dempster. All were transferred to Guinea Gulf Line in 1965 which is when Mano was so named. She was sold in 1967 and renamed Anna F. She put into Antwerp with engine trouble and was then towed to Gdansk for repairs but these were found to be not worthwhile. While being towed to breakers she broke adrift and became a total loss.
