Clansman outbound from Oban. She was built by Appledore Shipbuilders in Devon and launched in March 1998 and her maiden voyage was in the July that year. She has been beset with mechanical problems recently , namely crankshaft , which put her out of service for at least six weeks in 2010. 2011: She was moved to take over the Ardrossan-Brodick run whilst the usual vessel Caledonian Isles was in refit.
