Description:

The restored motor lifeboat JAMES STEVENS (No.14) was the Walton-on-the-Naze (Essex) lifeboat 1900-1928. She had a motor installed in 1908. After subsequent service as harbour launch, fire float, private yacht and house boat she was returned to Walton in May 1998 where she has been fully restored as the oldest surviving motor lifeboat.
