Mersey Class RNLI Lifeboat Silvia Burrell is usually based in Girvan on the Ayrshire Coast. This class was introduced in 1988 , they can either be launched from a slipway or lie afloat and the last vessel of the class was built in 1993. Their props are protected by partial tunnels and substantial bilge keels.
