Description:
Carousel is what a Royal Caribbean ship looks like without its Viking Crown Lounge. The former Nordic Prince, Carousel was built in 1971 for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, their second ship. She was sold to Airtours in 1995 and given her current name. Prior to the transfer, Royal Caribbean’s trademark Viking Crown was removed and replaced with a more traditional funnel design.
Carousel is 23,200 tons. 637 feet long. 80 Feet wide with a 22 foot draft. She is diesel powered and registered in the Bahamas with European Officers and an International crew.
