Bob. You are quite wrong in two respects. One, there is not a prevailing attitude among some Admins to delete things. Two, Take the time to click the Support tab on the Home page and look under the heading Uploading photos guidance, then go to Item 9 titled What if the Photograph shows more than one vessel? There you will see a Site Standard that has been in existence for a long time, recently edited and emphasised. See "Two or more vessels of different categories. Usually use the Shipping category. BUT when a vessel is dominant in the image compared with the size of others such as an attending tug or bunkering tanker, upload to the vessel category. If vessels from different categories are equally important to the image, upload to the Shipping category. In both cases enter the IMO for the largest vessel in the image" In this case the sail of the small yacht is not an obstruction to the outline of the tanker.

Best regards
Clyde

I gotta say, Clyde, that's a very nice pic indeed BUT:
under what seems to be the the prevailing attitude among the Admins (or at least some of them who like to delete things), should not the two tugs alongside and part of that yacht's sail which hide a small part of the ship's hull render this photo a candidate for deletion?

Its a matter of organising priorities. I am not always in control, but today it worked out.

Thank you Magogman. I got it in between flying a kite with my grandchildren and even more eating.
