Minor point: this is a bulker,not general cargo.
Built 1966 by Ansaldo, at Sestri Ponente, Italy (1630) as "Mare Sereno" 15,964 g.t. and 23,349 dwt.
Renamed: "Marbella" in 1981.
"Saudi Gizan" in 1984,
"Freedom" in 1984,
"Anatom" in 1984 &
"El Nile" in 1985.
Arrived at Xiamen, China on 31/12/1985 for demolition.
Those rapid changes of name and ownership in her last year probably reflect that she was a mechanical (or structural) mess by then!
