Photographed sailing past Maassluis in poor weather on 10th July 1968, the Panama flagged PLATE RANGER was bound for Raahe to load for South America. Built at Vegesack in 1940 as ULANGA, she became the Norwegian STORNES in 1945/6, then Westfal Larsen's TARANGER in 1947. Purchased by the Plate Shipping Company in 1967, she traded as PLATE RANGER for only two years, arriving at Kaohsiung on 23.12.69 to be broken up
