Description:

Seen in Genoa 1985,built Solimano Savona 1983,
this Italian C/t on voyage from Genoa to Vigo,
grounded at the South. Entrance of Vigo bay
30 -08-1987.Due to heavy seas continuosly pounding her,the crew abandoned ship 4 days later,after which the wrecked vessel broke in two.__Only four years of life for this ship!!!!!

It was owned by Misano di Navigazione S.p.A. (now ceased). Actually, if I do remember well, the story has that it was laid down in 1973, then the construction was halt for ten years and completed in 1983.

She looks like canadian tanker we had under the company SOCANAV few years ago. Anyone knows if they are related what so ever?
