Description:

MV Caribou laid up at Sydport. Note the Marine Atlantic markings have been painted over, but the rest of the paintwork is still pretty weathered. She is to be stored here, along with the Smallwood, while their fate is determined.

Yes Robert, the Caribou has been out of service since November of 2010. After being tied up for a few months at the Marine Atlantic terminal she was moved over to Sydport (only a few miles away) to clear space at the terminal. Currently she's up for sale and apparently she is going to stay at Sydport until a buyer is found. For more information visit the forum.
