British Ministry of Defence Police fast patrol launch 'Gigha' (pronounced gee-ah)on exercise on the upper Firth of Clyde. The hulk in the background is locally referred to as 'The Sugar Boat' , this is the wreck of the Captayannis which hit a bank after loosing it's anchor in a storm on the 27th January 1974. The ownership of the vessel was found to be indefinate and no-one would take charge of removing her.
