Had containersiation not been introduced they would have probably completed 30 plus years service out to NZ-Australia, but the Cap San class were in a class of their own, along with the Snow class and Polar class reefers.

No wonder. She was already outdated when she was launched.
Just compare her and her sisters with the Hamburg Sued Cap San class of refr.& general cargo liners,like the C.S.Diego,
Nicolas,Marco etc. Now you're talking about SHIPS!
