The Turkish owned YELKENCI, a standard Empire B type built at Sunderland in 1943, was photographed westbound in the Kiel Canal from Wismar on 7 July 1969 following discharge of a cargo loaded at Novorossisyk. She was later sold to breakers at Halic, Istanbul, where breaking commenced on 20 February 1971.
