She was built in 1919 for United States Shipping Board as a wooden steamer of 3585 GRT.
She arrived at Port Chalmers Dunedin in 1920 in poor condition, even though she was only a year old, and was condemned in 1921 and hulked 1926.
In 1971 she was buried when the container terminal was built.
