Ken,
A friend who works at Littlebrook PS tells me Tilbury PS is
in the process of being converted to biomass(wood pellets)
The fuel has to be stored undercover within the station,which has limited capacity so there will be continuous ships on there.
The coal elevators are being moved to the down river end of
the jetty(the biomass fuel being discharged by vacuum units)
It will be the largest biomass station in the world.

Yes, I think wood chip carriers might be the next ones on that berth. But as you say... to be confirmed.

Many thanks John, pity they are not more frequent though, we seem to have lost them at the Power Station, hasn't been one on the berth since last November, have heard several version as to why but nothing as yet confirmed.
