The East German FREUNDSCHAFT, built at Warnemunde in 1957, was photographed transiting the Kiel Canal at Hochdonn, bound from Rostock to Hamburg, on 2 July 1969
The ship was sold in 1977 and briefly traded as EURABIA FRIENDSHIP until arriving at Split on 6 August 1978 to be broken up
