The bow of the "Montana" stranded ship 18-AUG.1964 off Cape Verde (Cap Vert, near Dakar, Senegal).
The wreck is 2nm SE of the "Chaussée des Almadies" Lighthouse, in Position 14°44.5N / 17°32.6W.
The MONTANA is a general cargo vessel built as FLORIDA by Societe Cockerill Hoboken (Belgium) in 1944. Renamed MONTANA in 1956.
