Description:
KANG DONG, photographed sailing from Kiel Holtenau locks, bound from Nordenham for Poland, on about 5th November 1982, had been built by Harland & Wolff Ltd, Belfast, in 1964 as IRISBANK.
Sold to N.J.Pateras in 1979 and renamed OCEANAUT, she was resold to North Korea in 1980 and traded as KANG DONG until beached at Alang on 13 May 1994 to be broken up.
