She is neither being salvaged nor salvaging someone. This is just working moment when tanker is supplying fishing trawlers at Ohotsk Sea - you may see bunkering hose leaving from stern hose reel...

She is a sea bunker tanker.She was busy with bunkering of fishing vessels in Pacific ocean ,Japan and Bering seas.You can sea a oil transfer hose at the stern.During bad weather it is appreciated.

This is the former Bow Gran, an original chemical tanker built by Moss Rosenberg, Norway in 1970. I knew her well having regularly chartered her to carry our cargoes.
By 1998 downclassed to watertanker.
In this picture she is neither transferring cargo nor slow steaming. I figure she is being salvaged. Watch the lines from the stern. Shortly after this occurence she was towed to Alang and scrapped in July 2008.
