Is there anyone out there that was on the Swedish reefer ship mv silver ocean from July 1962 to October 1962. These are the dates that we sailed from Montreal to Sydney Australia. I made a good friend that joined the ship in Brisbane who was from Holland. It sure would be nice to hear from someone that served on this fine little ship.

It was very exciting for me when I saw this photo of the SKOPELOS ex: Silver Ocean built in Sweden in 1948. In July 1962 at 18 years of age I sailed out of Montreal bound for Australian Ports. I will never forget that fine little ship. Many good memories. I would sure like to here from anyone in Sweden that sailed on her during that time. Anytime from July 1962 up until October 1962.
