Description:
Totem Ocean Trailer Express Inc.'s GREAT LAND, 31515 gt, 17577 nt, 16138 dwt, 241 m length, 28.04 m beam, 18.3 m depth, built 1975 at the Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Co propelled by a 22731 kw steam turbine reduction geared plant. For many years ship ran between Tacoma Washington and Anchorage Alaska, but has been replaced by two newly built ROROs. Ship now runs between USWC and Hawaiian Islands. Seen here in Hilo Hawaii October 8, 2005
