Well I was a boy when they were in service and I do recall family friends sailing off to Canada on the Empress of Canada but the ships have been a long while out of CP service when I first saw them. I took two cruises aboard Topaz and I loved her. There was a great atmosphere aboard. The Thomson's cruise product was very good.

Again I am dating myself as I remember these new post war empresses of the Atlantic as they entered service in the late 1950's. mrdot.
