Stunning pictures! Truly amazing.

By the way, the twin-funneled oil tanker in the middle of the picture looks like it could have been built by Uljanik in former Jugoslavia during the 70s. Any thoughts on this?

How about the KANCHENJUNGA which was sold to Bangladesh breakers 7/2000?

Yes, it is the "Kanchenjunga". You can see SCI's markings on the funnel. Her idantical sister "Koyali" was demolished in 1996. The thirs VLCC built by Uljanik is called "Oloibiri" and is currently an FSO off Nigeria:

The vessel nearest us is the 275.000 dwt Sumitomo-built VLCC "Svelvik", owned by Polys Haji-Ioannou and managed by Bergshav in Norway:

The vessel on the other side of "Kanchenjunga" is the 392.000 dwt. ULCC "Jahre Venture", built at AG Weser at "Ioannis Colocotronis". She was maneged by Jahre Dahl Bergesen of Norway and owned by Polys Haji-Ioannou. If you look closely, you can see that she has three longitudal bulkheads (i.e. four tanks side by side), which was only found in this series of ULCCs from AG Weser and the 507.000 dwt ULCCs "Esso Atlantic" and "Esso Pacific" built at Hitachi in 1977:

I am still working on the fourth vessel (behind "Jahre Venture").

Difficult to tell, but the 4th ship could be Thanamaris's SEAMASTER (ex Fujikawa) which was sold to Bangladesh end June 2000, or the CHEVRON FELUY, which was sold in July 2000.

Apart from the other VLCCs/ULCCs mentioned here, no others were sold into Bangladesh in the period leading up to 9/2000.

Then it must be the "Seamaster" (ex "Fujikawa" ex "Fujikawa Maru" of K-Line), built at Kawasaki and of 232.000 dwt. The supertructure fits her outline, while it does not look any like that of "Chevron Feuly", which had the striking supertructure that was a trademark of all 1070s built Mitsubishi VLCCs. See her superstructure here:
