Spirit of Grace (Blt 1944) and Mer Sea (Blt 1943) at their home port in Lake Charles Louisiana, 9/08/05 17:32hrs. Both Vessels are owned and operated by the humanitarian relief organization, "Friendships" http://www.friendships.org At the time of this photo Mer Sea was preparing to deploy to New Orleans to join her identical sister "Hope" in assisting with the Hurricane response relief effort, while Spirit of Grace had her upcoming Israel relief trip temporarily postponed while Friendships assisted with Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
