Description:

Spirit of Grace, Lake Charles Louisiana, 9/08/05 1844hrs. Built in 1944 as the USS Pembina, a C1-M-AV1 type Knot Class vessel. in 1967 she was recomissioned as the USAV Resolute. It was used by the United States government as a munitions carrier and did other classified and unclassified service until decommissioning prior to Friendships aquiring her in 1996. She has since been used for humanitarian cargo relief world wide, her most recent trip being to Israel in 2006/2007. I believe she has since been sold to the breakers in Brownsville Texas.
