Description:
HMCC Searcher berthed on Newhaven's East Quay. She had escorted a Dutch-flagged yacht into Newhaven the previous night with sister ship HMCC Valiant from off Beachy Head. The crew were found to be smuggling drugs and appeared in Brighton Magistrates Court two days later.
