Description:

Norwegian FINNØYGLIMT was built 1961 at Alfr.Hagelstein in Lübeck as German STÖRTEBEKER, and was rebuilt after a fire in 1992.
She has carried several names after STÖRTEBEKER, and became FINNØYGLIMT in 2007.

She capsized and sank at Sletta north of Haugesund just before midnight on the 7.october 2011, loaded with gravel.
Out of her Polish crew of 3, 2 were picked up by vessel SOLFJORD, while the captain is still missing.

On this photo we see her 6/10-2008 outside Jæren, SW of Stavanger.
