Description:

Built at Varna in 1970 as PRZEMYSL for the Polish S.S. Co, this vessel traded as ST.MALO PEARL from 1994 to 1998, then as PEARL A. until 2000 and then JOSIANA as which she finally arrived at Kandia on 31.12.02 to be broken up.

As no evidence can be found of ST. MALO PEARL ever crossing the Atlantic, the location of this mid 1996 photograph of the ship at a U.S. port is a mystery.

Having sailed from Taranto (Italy) on 5th June 1996, it seems that her next loaded voyage was from Grimsby on June 24th 1996 bound for Tampa. She subsequently departed from St.Anna Bay, a deep channel on the island of Curaçao, on 9th August 1996 bound for Zeebrugge.
