Description:
The 1958 Terneuzen built SAALE was photographed in the Great Belt on 27th March 1976. Built as OLIVIA WINTHER, she had been purchased by East Germany in 1963
Sold in 1981 to Dery Shipping Lines of Beirut, she traded as SOFIA until 1988, then as MAZEN until 1992 when renamed SAMAA III by Dubai based interests.
Renamed ARABIAN EXPRESS in mid 1993, she was beached in a leaky condition on Manora Island, Karachi, on 24 August 1993
