And I was Captain aboard after Jan had left! Later she was sold and is now lalongside in Leer/Germnay. A pity!

She is the ANNY VON HAMBURG, built 1914 in Brake at Conrad Luhring Schiffswerft as a sailing cargo vessel without any engine. Later converted to a motor coaster and lengthened. Owned in Finland in the 70s-80s by a friend of mine. She traded as RINGÖ on the Borgå-Helsinki domestic sand trade for 15 years. In the late 80s sold via Sweden back to Germany where she was shortened back to her original lenght and rigged the way she was when built. A very beautiful ship, also her interior is very nice. I worked onboard her as Captain in 1997. Definitely the most beautiful sailing ship I have ever sailed on!
