Description:

Canopus Shipping(Andreas & George Kyrtartas) built up a large fleet of ships in the 1970's including the former WESTBURY, here seen arriving at Liverpool on 2nd August 1980 while on voyage from East Africa on charter to the Portugese national line. The former WESTBURY of Houlder Bros, built at Burntisland in 1960 and purchased by Canopus in 1978, she was renamed POLANA in 1981 and scrapped at Gadani Beach in 1983, being beached there on 24.5.83.
