Description:
The 1962 Bartram built former ARLINGTON COURT, Turnbull Scott's SOUTHGATE from 1964 to 1969, took the name GELA in 1970 for a ten year charter to TMM of Mexico. She was sold in 1979 to Seajet Shipping Ltd. of Greece - Albatross Shipping Enterprises - but laid up at Astakos around 23rd July 1982 until sold to Palmyra Tsiris Lines in 1984 and renamed CYCLOPUS as which she traded for just two more years before arriving at Chinese breakers in July 1986. She was here photographed sailing from Durban in July 1985.

Ws she a copy of a French design, I seem to recall French Line had some cargo liners like this.
