Not really Seaway
The more forward the more spray etc, the mor to the aft , the better. The electrical parts can be covered.
Look UBC Sacramneto, where those are stored,,really bad,, almost always salty and moist,, worst place grabs can,, from h2 to fwd. Here they are from h2 to aft,,

Good photos, the grabs will get some weathering in that location. Keep the electrician busy!
